The practice of stewardship invites us to look
in three different directions: DOWN, IN and OUT.
We begin by looking at how God has come DOWN to us.
Out of God's great love for humanity, he sent his son,
Jesus, to die on the cross for the sin
of the world and be resurrected.
We then look IN-ward to discover all that God
has entrusted to our care. We especially reflect on
how God has gifted each one of us with
Time, Talent & Treasure.
We then look OUT-ward to consider the needs of our neighbors and those who are marginalized. How can we best follow Jesus' example and help "the least of these"? (Matt 25)
DOWN, IN and OUT are three actions that may not always happen in this exact order, but the practice
of stewardship always invites all three.
