Mission & Vision

Our mission at Faith Lutheran Church is to be a community of loving people who spread God’s word by nurturing faith in Jesus Christ and serving those in need.

The vision of Faith Lutheran Church is to create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life-changing reality of the gospel as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. 

In 1954 two churches came together and with all their "faith" to overcome congregational differences in order to create "Faith Lutheran Church" under a new name.

April 7th, 2024 marked our 70th Anniversary here at Faith Lutheran Church. We celebrated with  former pastors, members, and youth followed by a Pancake Breakfast Extravaganza. Download our 70th Anniversary Booklet, highlighting the last 10 years.

The Constitutions, Bylaws, and Continuing Resolutions of Faith Lutheran Church as as part of the ELCA reflect the theology and polity of this church as it organizes itself to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, share the sacraments, reach out to the neighbor with good news, and share the love of God in the world.

The Annual Congregation Report is one of the tools the church-wide organization and synods use to measure the vitality and resources of this church so we can better understand how we are equipped to share the Good News of Jesus with our neighbors.
