As we gather on Ignite the Light Sunday, we celebrate the beginning of a new program year filled with opportunities to grow in faith, service, and community. Today’s message reminds us that Jesus is the Light of the world, shining brightly in our lives and calling us to reflect that light to others. Just as a small flame can light a dark room, our individual gifts and collective efforts can illuminate our church, neighborhoods, and beyond. Let this year be one of renewed commitment, enthusiasm, and purpose—fanning the flames of faith and spreading the Light of Christ to all. Together, we are empowered to ignite hope, love, and faith in every corner of our lives.
