Welcome to Faith Lutheran Church as we gather on this Eighteenth Sunday After Pentecost! Today, we reflect on the lessons from the book of James, warning us against selfish ambition, and learn from Jesus’ teaching to his disciples about true greatness through service. Jesus sets a powerful example by placing a child in their midst, reminding us to welcome and honor the children in our lives.

This service is extra special as we kick off our children and youth programs. We’ll recognize our GLOW teachers and present new Bibles to our Kindergartners, 3rd graders, and 6th graders.

Our choir will also open the new choir season after the Prayer of the Day.
