February 15, 2026 Worship Service

Feb 15, 2026    Pastor Heather Brown

On Transfiguration Sunday, we gather on the mountaintop with Jesus and his disciples to glimpse the radiant glory of God. Through Moses on Mount Sinai and the transfiguration of Jesus, we are reminded that God reveals holiness in powerful moments of light and presence. When the disciples are overwhelmed, Jesus meets them with reassurance: “Do not be afraid.”

This message speaks into our own lives. We all experience moments when God feels close and clear—times of insight, joy, or deep connection. Yet we can’t stay on the mountaintop forever. We are called to carry what we have seen and heard back into everyday life, reflecting Christ’s light in our relationships, communities, and acts of service.

In worship—through music, prayer, Word, and Holy Communion—we are reminded that we are God’s beloved and are sent into the world to shine with Christ’s love and hope.
