February 1, 2026 Worship Service

We gather in worship grounded in confession and forgiveness, trusting God’s promise to make all things new. Led by musician Kathy Biederwolf, our service is shaped by music, prayer, and God’s Word, calling us toward justice, humility, and faithful living.

The Faith Choir lifts our praise with “Praise the Lord” by Handel. Together, we sing hymns that proclaim God’s welcome for all and God’s call to live boldly as Christ’s people.

We hear God’s Word proclaimed through scripture:

First Reading: Micah 6:1–8

Psalm: Psalm 15

Second Reading: 1 Corinthians 1:18–31

Gospel: Matthew 5:1–12

The Gospel is shared through Puppets of Faith and the sermon, inviting all ages to engage the message. In prayer, we lift the church, the world, creation, leaders, and those in need, trusting God’s mercy and care.

At the table, we are nourished with Holy Communion and sent out with God’s blessing—to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
