Sunday February 9th, 2025

Feb 9, 2025    Pastor Heather Brown

This Sunday, we reflect on God's call and our response. In Isaiah’s vision, he humbly answers, “Here am I; send me!”—a reminder that God calls each of us, even when we feel unworthy. Paul, in 1 Corinthians, acknowledges that he is the least of the apostles, yet by God’s grace, he is transformed. In the Gospel of Luke, Simon Peter, overwhelmed by Jesus’ power, falls to his knees in humility, but Jesus calls him to a greater purpose: to become a fisher of people.

Like Isaiah, Paul, and Peter, we may feel inadequate, yet God equips and strengthens those He calls. This Sunday, we are invited to hear His call, respond in faith, and step forward in trust. Join us as we explore how God’s grace works through our weaknesses, leading us into lives of discipleship and purpose.
