Welcome to worship with Faith Lutheran Church.
This Sunday we hear one of the most powerful stories in Scripture — the raising of Lazarus (John 11:1–45).
In this moving Gospel story, Jesus meets Mary and Martha in the midst of deep grief and loss. Their brother has died, and hope seems gone. Yet even there, Jesus reveals the power of God’s life-giving love.
Before the miracle, Jesus speaks words that still speak into our lives today:
“I am the resurrection and the life.”
Even in moments that feel uncertain, heavy, or final, God is still at work — bringing life, hope, and renewal.
Our readings echo this promise:
• Ezekiel 37:1–14 — God breathes life into dry bones
• Romans 8:6–11 — The Spirit of God dwells in us, bringing life now
God is always bringing life where the world sees only endings.
Whether you come carrying joy, questions, or burdens, Christ meets you where you are — and calls you into new life.
