GLOW Kids Party – This Saturday!
Get ready for an afternoon of Halloween fun! Our annual GLOW Kids Halloween Party is this Saturday, October 31, from 2:30–4:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
Join us before heading out for an afternoon of trick-or-treating! Students can enjoy games, food, and time with their Faith Lutheran Church friends.
Please register ahead of time so we can plan for the right number of students and make sure we have enough supplies and treats for everyone!

Offering & Generosity | Paisley Paws
This fall, our GLOW and RISE students are learning that sharing God's love includes caring for all of God's creation, including the animals that are part of our families.
Our Sunday School offerings support the Paisley Paws Charitable Veterinary Foundation, which helps pets receive needed veterinary care when their families face financial hardship. The organization also supports veterinary professionals experiencing difficult circumstances.
Every gift makes a difference! Students can bring their offerings each week and place them in the offering container during music time or in their classroom. 100% of our Sunday School offerings for this project will support Paisley Paws.
Together, we can help pets receive needed care and bring hope to families in difficult situations.

Family Spotlight Sunday
We've heard some great questions from families about Family Spotlight Sunday, and we want you to know that you don't have to figure it all out on your own! If you're interested but aren't sure where to start, please reach out. I'd be happy to talk through the options, answer questions, and help your family find a role that feels comfortable.
Family Spotlight Sunday is an opportunity for parents and children to serve together during worship. It's a simple way to help our children see that they have an important place in the life of our church and that everyone can make a difference.

You don't need previous experience to participate. We'll help you understand what to do and make sure you feel prepared before serving.

Family Spotlight Sunday
We've heard some great questions from families about Family Spotlight Sunday, and we want you to know that you don't have to figure it all out on your own! If you're interested but aren't sure where to start, please reach out. I'd be happy to talk through the options, answer questions, and help your family find a role that feels comfortable.
Family Spotlight Sunday is an opportunity for parents and children to serve together during worship. It's a simple way to help our children see that they have an important place in the life of our church and that everyone can make a difference.
Here are a few ways your family can participate:
- Greeters: Welcome people as they arrive for worship and help direct anyone who has questions. This is a great, easy place to start!
- Ushers: Help hand out bulletins, welcome attendees, pass offering plates, assist with the flow of Communion, and tidy the pews after worship. Kids can help with several of these responsibilities, too!
- Communion Assistants: Help distribute Communion during worship. Pastor Heather can provide guidance and simple training beforehand so you feel comfortable and know what to expect.
- Scripture Readers: Read the assigned Bible readings during worship. Readings are selected ahead of time, giving you plenty of opportunity to review them and ask questions.
You don't need previous experience to participate. We'll help you understand what to do and make sure you feel prepared before serving.

First Communion Service
This Sunday, November 1, is a special day for our GLOW families as we celebrate First Communion during our 9:00 AM worship service!
We are excited to welcome five of our students to the Communion table for the very first time:
Our First Communion students and their families are welcome to sit in the reserved pew section during worship. We look forward to celebrating this special moment with you as our students take this next step in growing in faith and participating in the life of our church.
Please join us in celebrating and supporting these students as they continue learning, growing, and sharing God's love!

8th Grade Church Visits
A big thank-you to our 8th-grade RISE students who visited Immanuel Lutheran Church in Marshfield this past Sunday!
As part of their final year of confirmation preparation, these visits give students an opportunity to experience worship in other congregations, learn about different church communities, and explore how Christians live out their faith in different settings.
These experiences are an important part of the journey toward Confirmation Sunday on April 25, 2027. We're grateful for our students' participation and willingness to explore, ask questions, and continue growing in their faith.
RISE Confirmation Classes
Our RISE students continue learning about prayer, the Lord's Prayer, and what it means to live out their faith in everyday life. We look forward to continuing these conversations as we work through our confirmation curriculum together. Next class: November 4th at 5:45 PM

We also understand that sports schedules can make arrival difficult. If your student will be arriving late, that's okay—just let us know ahead of time.

We are looking for volunteers to serve as a GLOW Host of the Day throughout the upcoming year. This is a simple but important way to support our GLOW families, teachers, and volunteers each Sunday.
As a GLOW Host, you may:
We're looking for friendly, organized individuals who enjoy helping others and creating a welcoming environment for children, families, and volunteers.
A small role that makes a big difference in helping our Sunday mornings run smoothly!

We are looking for volunteers to serve as a GLOW Host of the Day throughout the upcoming year. This is a simple but important way to support our GLOW families, teachers, and volunteers each Sunday.

Our goal is simply to create opportunities for families to participate in worship, serve together, and continue building connections within our church family.
Families can participate in several different ways, including:
I am happy to participate alongside your family, walk you through any of the roles, or answer questions to help everyone feel comfortable. You don't have to know exactly what to do ahead of time!
We have two families done so far, and I would love to get more families involved. Please let me know when your family would like to participate, or feel free to sign up on the clipboard on Sundays.
