This Sunday we will celebrate Reformation Day! Rooted in the past and growing into the future, the church must always be reformed in order to live out the love of Christ in an ever-changing world. We celebrate the good news of God’s grace, that Jesus Christ sets us free every day to do this life-transforming work. Trusting in the freedom given to us in baptism, we pray for the church, that Christians will unite more fully in worship and mission.

Sunday's Festival Worship Service will include trumpet accompaniment by Patrick Zdun to "A Mighty Fortress is Our God" by Martin Luther. Our acolytes and Faith Choir members will join in a procession following the cross and Bible as they lead us in lifting our voices to God. Faith Choir, under the direction of Kaitlyn Konrardy, will sing the anthem "Send the Fire!" by Victor C Johnson. Our worship service will also feature music by JS Bach, a world famous Lutheran composer and musician. Kathy Biederwolf's organ prelude will set the tone for our worship service as she plays JS Bach's "Toccata in d minor."

On this Reformation Day, take time to pray for the church, for its ongoing reformation, for the healing of divisions, for the renewal of faith and mission, and for the strength to persevere in these efforts. And please prayerfully consider the following: How might our congregation increase our support and/or participate in this important work?

Can’t join us in person? We invite you to worship with us through our livestream on YouTube!
