FLY has an exciting November ahead! We are kicking off our Dough for Dough cookie fundraiser, getting ready for our Italian Spaghetti Dinner, and continuing to plan for our 2027 Mission Trip to Denver. There are also several opportunities coming up for students to connect, serve, and spend time together.

Mission Trip 2027 | First Deadline Approaching!
Planning continues for our 2027 FLY Mission Trip to Denver, Colorado!
Our initial interest deadline is October 31, and we are moving into the next stage of planning.
November 15 – First Payments Due
If you are planning to participate in the 2027 mission trip, please make sure to have your first payment submitted by November 15.
If you have questions about the trip, payment schedule, or participation, please connect with Justin.
We are excited about the opportunity to serve, grow in faith, and make a difference together!

Our Dough for Dough cookie fundraiser officially kicks off this Sunday!
This is a great opportunity for everyone to help spread the word. We are asking students and families to share our fundraiser with friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers.

Our FLY Italian Spaghetti Dinner is just one week away! We are excited to welcome the community for an evening of good food, fellowship, and fun while supporting our FLY Youth Ministry.

Have you completed your FLY registration for this year?
All students participating in FLY need to complete the registration form so we have up-to-date contact information and can share important announcements with students and families.
Important for 8th Grade Confirmation Students: If you registered for GLOW and are also participating in FLY, you must register for both programs. GLOW registration does not automatically register you for FLY.

FLY 2027 Mission Trip — Denver, CO | October 31st
The destination has been chosen! After collecting input from our youth and families, Denver, Colorado will be the destination for our 2027 FLY Mission Trip.
Now that we know where we’re going, our next step is determining who will be joining us and beginning the planning process for the trip.
October 31 — First Commitment Deadline
October 31 is our first commitment deadline for the 2027 Mission Trip.
If you are a youth or adult who is interested in participating, please let me know by October 31. At this point, you are not being asked to make every final commitment or payment—you are simply letting us know that you are interested in going so we can include you in our initial participant count.
This first count is important because it will help us determine:
We will also be looking for adults who are interested in serving as leaders for the 2027 Mission Trip.
If you are interested in being an adult leader, please let me know by October 31 as well. Once we have an initial list of interested adults, we will have an individual conversation with each person to talk through the trip, expectations, responsibilities, and what serving as a leader will look like.
The goal is to make sure we have the right number of adult leaders in place and that everyone understands what will be involved before we move further into the planning process.
What Happens Next?
Once we have our initial participant and adult leader numbers, we will be able to continue working through the details of the trip, including registration, transportation, lodging, fundraising, and other planning needs.

Dough for Dough Fundraiser | November 1st
Our Dough for Dough Holiday Cookie Dough Fundraiser is almost here! This is a great opportunity for FLY students and families to support our youth ministry while spreading some holiday cheer throughout our community.
We will be selling Christmas cut-out cookie dough in festive decorative tins, made by our youth and volunteers. This is an easy way for friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers to get a head start on their holiday baking while supporting FLY!

We encourage all FLY students and families to participate by helping spread the word and collecting orders!
Every order helps support FLY youth activities, faith formation, service opportunities, and our upcoming 2027 mission trip to Denver, Colorado.
