Dear Faith Family,

On All Saints' Sunday, we will celebrate the baptized people of God, living and dead, who are the body of Christ. As November heralds the earth entering into its deep winter sleep, the readings and liturgy call us to remember all who have died in Christ and whose baptism is complete. At the Lord’s Table, we gather with the faithful of every time and place, trusting that the promises of God will be fulfilled and that all tears will be wiped away in the new Jerusalem.

Our Second Reading from I John 1:1-3 reminds us that a saint is one who has been set apart by God for God’s purposes. God, out of divine love, sets us apart to be the children of God. "See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God, and that is what we are."(I John 1:1)  Our holy hope is that we shall see God as God really is.

Join us on Sun Nov 1 as we remember saints who have passed away over the past year and we rejoice with newly baptized saints.  Our worship service will feature Nancy Young (guitar) and Kathy Biederwolf (piano) leading us in a Latino-inspired liturgy fromAll Creation Sings. We will also recognize five students (2nd Graders) who will receive their First Communion at The Lord's Table.  And "Puppets of Faith" will offer a special First Communion lesson for the very young and young at heart!

Can’t join us in person? We invite you to worship with us through our livestream on YouTube!

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
